School Field Trips at Airfield 4-H Center

Field Trips have never been so fascinating, or so helpful.

The Airfield 4-H Educational Center offers a variety of programs for groups of all sizes.

No matter what your group's educational or recreational goals are, we can tailor programs from a half day to a week to help you meet those goals. We offer meals, lodging and programming packages that include team building on our ropes course, environmental education, campfire programs, leadership development, and much more. Most of our programs can be correlated directly to Virginia Standards of Learning.

Airfield 4-H Center's Environmental Education Program is designed to offer student's experiential, hand-on learning opportunities in an outdoor setting. Our program is offered to both public and private schools, as well as home-school students. This is the perfect opportunity to enhance and reinforce what is being taught in the classroom. The Environmental Education Program (Field Trips) allows teachers to choose which courses are offered during the field trip so that the teachers can customize the trip to correspond to the topics they are teaching in school. Most importantly, all the programs conducted at the Center are in instructed by trained, caring professionals who are committed to positive youth development.
